CWP questions for Florida LEO and those who know gun laws

Hey everyone I just took my South Carolina CWP and Utah CFP classes yesterday. I am a South Carolina resident and I go to college in Florida. Because I go to college in Florida I was curious about some of the laws. Can I buy guns in Florida since I will be a South Carolina and Utah permit holder and they reciprocate with Florida or can I only buy in the state where I have my permanent address at? Also is there any major laws differences between South Carolina and Utah that I should be aware of? Thanks.

I can only answer as follows: Under federal law you can purchase a longarm out of state so long as it is legal in the state in which you purchase it and in the state in which you reside. All other firearms must be purchased in your home state. That was struck down by the 5th circuit recently so we will see where that goes.

Rule of thumb as always is be a reasonable man.
