Mods going in car:

Kooks 1 7/8ths headers
Kooks catted H-pipe
New plugs
2.4 supercharger pulley
JLT intake
65mm dual throttle body

Here is the question. I want to run a 75 shot of nitrous as well. Do I need a separate tune for that? I have already paid for a LUND tune, just curious if I need 2 tunes to occasionally spray.

Thanks

Depending how much you plan on spraying it may be more of a hassle than its worth to load and unload a tune every time you want to spray. The other issue with two tunes is that sometimes there may be a need to spray and you don't have the right tune in, you can't spray and lose the pull. IMHO, I think it's easier to pull a couple degrees of timing and run it that way all the time so you can spray as needed without having to worry. I would jet the nitrous a bit on the rich side for extra safety if you don't feel like pulling the timing.

So how much timing is added in these email tunes? And how much hp are you losing with a few degrees of timing pulled out?

Pulling a few degrees out and not pushing it to the max seems a bit safer for the motor in general.??.
