I hope I'll never use it!!!!!!!!!
My frt loop is stock configuration,this rear loop & shield will prevent caps misc. parts from being flung out and keep d/shaft from hitting fuel lines,mufflers and keep shart in car so to help prevent damage to tranny tail stock.

Not being a smart ass...but why?

In case I throw a cap it won't fling out into crowd and the d/shaft won't drop down out of car if it breaks a yoke or joint.
