This is not something I feel up to trying, I just wondered first of all would it be do-able at all.
I'm talking about doing a folding hard top conversion on an 04 Cobra coupe. A folding hard top that will fold and retract into the trunk area which lifts up from the front and closes after the top is down.
Just like the Mercedes tops and some of the other new cars have done.
I know someone like Chip Foose could make it happen. I think myself that it would be way cool. Of course the car would have to be stiffened up,but that could be done, things like subframe connectors and stripping the body down to a shell and seam welding all the body seams would help.
What do y'all think ??
