Custom h-pipe idea

i got this idea the other night thinking about what i can do to change the sound of my car with little or no money since i am poor. i came up with this idea, i have an off road h pipe on the car, and i was wondering how it would sound with another cross over pipe. any input?? i have know idea what it would sound like! thanks-jim

Same sound, a little deeper, but no benefit. Mufflers will change the personality of your exhaust more than another H pipe. I run an X and H combo on mine -- very mellow, very deep, going back through Bassani's and Bassani baffles. I started with a catted Magnaflow X, ported out the X (using 2 3/4" OD legs), and welded an H under the transmission. This gives great scavenging (for the X over 5,000) with no loss of torque (with the H up to about 5,000), and very deep tone.
