Cruise Control

Haven't driven the car in 40 days. Went for a ride this morning and the cruise control would not set.....

Is there some kind of common problem before I take to dealer?

never heard of that at all..for sure take it to the dealer so it can get covered.

not a common prob, infact thats the first time I have heard of it.

you might also want to check the deactuator switch on the brake pedal...it may have come loose and no longer be in contact with the pedal at rest

Mine didn't work when I picked it up. I didn't think that much of it, untill I noticed that the brake lights didn't work either. I think it was a fuse issue.

Thanks for the input guys! No my foot wasn't on the clutch pedal.

I went to a local car show tonight and the cruise worked perfect all the way there and all the way home. I don't know what the problem was earlier today.

Spanked an F-body on the way home ... silly chevy guys

Mine was intermittent as well. It ended up being a bad switch on the clutch pedal.
