Who is doing the open?

I didn't register but just did 14.1. Incredibly humid here today. If I did register I would be tied for 8332 place. Lol. 180 reps.

14.1
10 minutes AMRAP
30 Double Unders
15x 75# Power Snatch

Rich Froning did 444.

Post up your scores and for all the haters, you're welcome to play along.

Crossfit is a good workout, anyone that tells you it isn't, doesn't know what they are talking about.

I do have a problem with it though. I've seen a ton of people get hurt doing it. Mostly from having poor form and trying to rush through reps as fast as they can, pretty much the name of the game. A lot of people I've seen get hurt are beginners, however I've seen experienced cross-fitters get hurt when trying to PR.

I love the idea of it though. To take a sport (training) and pretty much level the playing field in order to give everyone a shot to be successful (i.e. a 150 lb guy can beat a 250 lb guy in an event, even though he may not be able to lift the same amount of weight). The competitive side is my favorite. I use to CrossFit, but I decided to give it up and get back to the weights.
