Cross fit

Who does cross fit? I have seen some people going through at my gym but never done it myself. I know it is a great work out but what are some of the workouts? some one educate me.

PS Im a veteran lifter and I know about dieting I just want to know about crossfit.

We've done it in ROTC. Ours is somewhat modified and done outside though.
