I just bought a new hood and my friend said he has a guy that will paint the hood for $150 if I get the paint. Sound like a good deal?

Will he do all the prep-work and buy the prep-materials?? If you have to buy everything and he is just painting I would have a proffesional do it, or do it yourself.
The hood has been previously prep and painted electric green. I now need it Oxford White.
He said I get the paint and he does the rest.

I paid around $450 if I remember correctly for prep and paint...and installation on a Cervini Cobra R hood.
I think mine was about $400 as well for prep, paint, and alignment of my Cervinis Cobra R.
