what is the proper way to get the air out of the cooling system when you change the antifreeze

Do a search and you should be able to find the info. Basically you remove the round burp plug from the top of the coolant crossover tube. It's on the front driver's side of the blower. That's the highest point in the cooling system so you fill from there. Fill, run until the thermostat opens, shut down, fill repeat several times until the air is out.
