Coolant Temps?

So my car overheated roughly a month or so ago. I replaced the thermostat (autozone) and did a flush of the coolant. The flush was 200 miles with distilled water and prestone coolant flush. I monitored the temps while flushing and saw it running an average of 225*F. I then drained the water and coolant flush and it came out super dirty. Added fresh coolant and water, burped it correctly and ran the car around town for 25-30 miles and saw average temps of 219*F give or take and peaking at 228*F when I got on it.

Is that normal or is my car running hotter than normal for a 4v 4.6 motor?
All stock cooling system.

THanks in advance!

Stock thermostat is rated at 195 degrees. If memory serves the low speed fan turns on at 215 and high speed at 225. So you're not out of the ordinary.

Alright, thank you. That is what I was seeing elsewhere but wanted to be sure. This car has been fighting me every which way it can.
