Was reading up and decided to do this, but looking at my 00 upper intake, I can't. Anyone else try this? Can I just use the 3/8" NPT plugs behind the heads instead?

Thats what I did. I also used a "L" hose to run over to the metal pipe on the pass side. Works fine and looks OEM-ish too.

So you connected the two ports in the back of each head and then connected both of them to the metal tube?
