Coolant crossover difference

Building a 98 cobra motor from the ground up,I have b heads, Wondering if there is a difference between the 99-01 and 96-98 coolant cross over pipe? Or will the 99-01 crossover work on the 98 heads?

Go to a pull a part and get a mark viii crossover for $10. Same as the cobra
