Rich Shafer is owner and long time friend and competitor.
He passed away Saturday from injuries at the Crow Mountain Hillclimb in Scottsboro, Al where we were competing this past weekend.
I was 2 cars in front of Rich. We drive to the top, turn around and then wait on the other cars in our group to come up and go down in mass.
Rich never made it up the last run Saturday.
