Hey guys I'm about to install my coilovers and I was wondering what height do you have to set it at before going to get an alignment? Do you have to put it at the height you're going to be riding most of the time? Or how does that work? Also the coilovers have some numbers on top like on the camber plates what setting or number should they be set at or does the ligament shop take care of that... Thanks for the help

Hey buddy,

Yes you need to figure out what ride height you want, get it set, and then get it aligned. This usually means spending several hours adjusting your ride height and then once you have it where you want it going to get an alignment immediately. You cant adjust your ride height without negatively affecting your alignment(atleast on the front of the car). Dont worry about the camber plates, the alignment shop will take care of those.

Just be sure that the place you take it is familiar with camber plates. Some shops wouldn't have the slightest clue as to what to do with them.
