My top has been struggling to go up and down. It's taking forever to come up or go down. It seems like its dying a slow death. What is involved as far as replacing the motor...price/parts/ease of install?

Or is there any maintenance I should be doing that could reverse this?

Any information or link would be helpful. I haven't been able to find anything on the boards.

Thanks!!!

Have you checked your fluid level? Everybody was telling me that I had a bad motor. All it needed was more fluid and works like a champ now. Very easy thing to check and fill as needed. It takes ATF. Just a thought.

Wow....I didn't even know it used fluid! :read:

Thanks for heads up! I'll look into it.

Right after I sent that post, the top closed like it was launched from a silo! So who knows what the deal with it is....maybe its possessed!
