well here goes, i want a black convertable top instead of the tan color on it now. my Q is, is there a good paint for the vinyl that will last and wont peel off and be legit (GLOSS) black, i know i should replace it but it being my DD and being in the military my time is very limited. (overnight fireman schedule)so i kinda want to avoid the whole replacing the top with a new one, but if its the only way i will try and make time to do that.
thanks and sorry for the long post

I doubt that would work. The top gets folded and creased every time you put it down. How would paint hold up in that environment?
