Was wondering what other svt driver's opinions are on the contour. Seems to get treated like a red-headed step-child around here.

They make great daily drivers and they are getting pretty cheap nowadays.

Sweet car. Finding a good one at this point seems pretty difficult though. I drove one in 1999, and I totally loved it. I scared the shizzel out of the salesguy.

No.. I had a regular '98 Contour when I first turned 16 that was a stick shift, and it wasn't an SVT. I practice my manual driving on that car.

I joke around on the boards about Contours just to get a razz outta some of y'all (y'all know I'm kidding to, atleast SOME do ;-) ). I think it's a nifty little thing. It's cute :-D

I too think you have to drive one to appreciate it. Apparently this white trash fat ass and his friend didn't like mine much. They gave me a thumbs down as they passed me in their late 80s 4 runner.

I dunno, I think my car is nice.;-)

Those are some sweet pics. I wouldn't mind having one for a daily driver, or a nicer fam. car. or my hot wife to drive. They really arent "bold enough" I guess for me, but still awesome cars none the less.

The only people I even respond to are the idiots who base their argument on "well he drives a Contour, so he must be retarded"
