Hearing about this new version right as I was ready to purchase a set of the current. These sound like such an improvement, that I'd like to wait...just don't know how long. Sounds like some sizes could be available soon? I need 255/55/18 rears and 255/45/18 fronts for a Mercury Marauder.

Any insight on actual release date? Whether my sizes will be released?

Thanks in advance...

Thank you for the post, Taf.

According to Continental, the 255/55R-18 and 255/45R-18 DWS06 will be available sometime next month (May 2015). Codes are being entered into our system now so once that's complete we'll have pricing available.

Thanks Matt. I see these are now released, however, I don't see the 255 55 18s listed on Conti's site? Can you confirm both this size, and the 255 45 18 should be available?

Thank you for the info...

Hi Taf,

I just got off the line with Continental and the DWS06 is available in both the 255/55R-18 and 255/45R-18 sizes. I'm still waiting on pricing but as soon as I have this information I'll shoot you a PM.

I like the traction (in a straight line) of my DWS's on my STi. Sorry to thread jack and all, but can you think of a tire with less sidewall flex in the corners? It really upsets the car.
