Checked my brake fluid reservoir this evening and it looks like it has contamination in it. I have had my clutch replaced. Opinions? Comments? Ideas?

Why is the fluid so low? Do you have a leak? Maybe cap was not on tight or broken seal.

That sucks.....................................Nelco

More than likely it's from changing your clutch, I would flush your brakes and just keep a eye on the reservoir

I was planning on replacing the system with RBF600, just didn't want it to be due to an issue like this.

The cap was on tight, and there are no leaks; I was even under the car looking while doing an oil change.

Is that from moisture? Just never seen anything like it before and worried that the "gunk" is all through the system.

Look at any late model manual corvette and you will see the fluid is black due to clutch contamination! We were actually instructed to flush the slave as necessary in order to keep it clean.
