Congrats Calightning - 9.00 @ 152mph!!!

Steve's (Calightning) Sonic Blue L was piloted to a 9.00 @ 152mph by John Mihovetz this evening and the setup has alot more in it. For those that don't remember, Steve has a complete tube chassis truck with a 5.4 GT 4 valve setup and Whipple 3.4 atop. This is on what most would refer to as moderate boost and very low timing, but Steve will fill you in if he wants. FFS

Steve had some transmission issues on his second run which put him out. It was 19psi and very warm track temps (~100*).

Gary Soulages was at the track running his incredible truck too, and he did not gain a new best, but did get within a couple hundreths iirc. ~7.20 ET or so, (that was as of 2:00 AM or so , but he was going to make another pass). FFS
