i remember back awhile ago we had a few threads about music, and peoples favorite bands were, and what they recomend that isn't as popular, well i think it'd be fun to share what concerts you have all been to, and who knows maybe you guys were at the same one, seeing as im only 15, i havn't been alive to see anyone in concert worth seeing, atleast when they were in there prime, but i am going to go see Lynyrd Skynryd this July, so let's hear where you guys have been.

Best show I ever - Pearl Jam's free concert at Magnusson Park in Seattle - summer of 91 I think. Eddie Vedder was unbelievable.

2nd best - any and all U2 shows.

3rd best - Nirvana's surprise concert at Western Washington University when they were the "surprise opening band" for Mudhoney.

4th best - Gotta throw in the Grateful Dead at Autzen Stadium in Eugene Oregon. Not sure what year but I do remember the Indigo Girls opened.

Honorable Mention goes to G-Love and Special Sauce in Tahoe and House of Blues in LA. “I Like Cold Beverages”.

Metallica ...And Justice for all Tour was probably one of the best tours they put together, and the Sanitarium Tour.

Sevendust....Seen them 7 times, awesome, awesome, live band. My neighbor's band opened up for them when they were in Raleigh, and he brought them back to his house for a big ass party got to meet them again. Too bad my damn neighbor just moved.

I've been to one large-scale concert: Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.

Other than that, all I have ever been to is small local shows, sometimes in abandoned warehouses, other times in some permanent little venue, garages, bars, basements, etc.

The best I was at was at a bar. I was interviewing a band (actually, just one guy, whose band was coincidentally called "That One Guy"). He was playing at a bar - I was only 20 - so he said I was with the staff for his band (his only other "staff" was his girlfriend/manager), but it worked. He was a really cool guy from the Bay Area, so it was fun to hang out with him. Then his show kicked ass as an extra bonus.
