computer ?????

I am looking at two 96 cobra computers one says the ecu code is llx3 and the other is llx4, why are they different they are suppose to both be off of a 96??

they made different computers because they kept updating the "stuff" in them. if i were you i would find out which one is the newer one and use that. they will both work though

My 98 has the AOL3 code.
96s had the cooling problem. Maybe the newer one has an updated tune that may assist that issue

mine is running right now off of a aod gt computer with a few mods but I know it is killing my performance because the tune was not very professional. And I have zero cooling issues, so maybe I will be ok with the 96 computer because I cant beat the price on either of them.

Go with the llx4 that is the newest of the two. My car is a sept. of 95 build and has a llx2. When I needed to get a tune with my Xcal2 they had to use the llx4 code for it.
