Seems to be that the previous owner of my ride destroyed the contacts where you install the Superchips chip. Everytime I install the chip it dies and doesnt restart until I disconnect the battery and reset the comp. Do I have a ny options here or should I buy a new ECU? And where would I find a cheap one?? I do have experience with these chips so I do know what to look for. The connectors are really scraped hard. So I assume that is the issue, bad coinnections between the chip and comp.


Any help would be great.

check out www.car-parts.com for a new EEC. I doubt those connections can be repaired, but then again, I've never heard of anyone butchering them..
