Has anyone done a compression test then found the culprit to be a popped intake follower? I've searched extensively and can't find anyone with this exact scenario.

Long story short, 96 Cobra, 5.0 fr500 cams and ported heads , c swap , etc.

Car seems to run fine. Was waiting to get it tuned. Put the car on the dyno and fuel trims were off. So we decided to do a compression test. #5 shows low. All pumped up the same for the first two or three revolutions. Then number five sat at 60 pounds, while the rest climbed to 160ish.

So I parked the car. Disgusted. This is my second built motor in 7 years and I put maybe 50 miles on the car period last one had a knock at start up.

So the more I think about it the more I wonder if this could be a popped intake follower. Has anyone seen anything like this in the past? The car is in storage, and would take some effort to go pull the valve cover. Much more likely if I'm hopeful.
