Comp cams...which springs?

I've decided to take the heads off the truck after the plug blowout, timecert all 8 plug holes and let my buddy with a machine shop freshen up and go through the heads and port/polish them.

While its apart, I am going to go with a cam setup and was leaning towards the Comp XE270AH setup. I have seen several different valve springs being used with these cams, and was wanting some input from those with built motors to chime in on springs.

HAHA, If mine ever pops a plug I would be doing the exact same thing :beer:

Comp has a spring that they recommend. I know that JL and JDM have springs that will work that they market. I have the same cams and I use patriot heads so I use patriot springs. I believe you can use their springs for the mod motor on your heads without modification. Although I can not verify, I believe that JDM has the stiffest springs for the ford mod motor.
