That just shocks me. Most likely he was in the helicopter, they just cannot officially say he is dead till he has been properly identified. I will remember him always and will miss seeing him.

damn, i just saw this. but, that ****er is one tough son-of-a-bitch. he has gone through some of the hardest crashes that the wrc has ever seen. i have a feeling he's outside the helicopter cursing the **** out of the copter, and kicking the boom in. i got 20 that he's ok...

I remember when he cut off/amputated an injured thumb so he could drive the next race. He wasn't willing to give it the time to heal properly and the Dr's told him he couldn't drive...he said BS and told 'em cut it off.

Hope he's ok.

i think they still have to identify the bodies in the accident. should be available in the next days. i hope it isn't him. the man is a strong man in the sense...

That is sad news, but I gaurentee you that 99.9% of the people on this site had no idea who that guy was. R.I.P. Sad story.
