Cold weather not good.

Just returned from overseas, and started the L. Ran like Shi*, and had a sucking sound coming from the intercooler res. pulled the lines off from the intake and had a hell of alot of suction from the metal lines. I routed a hose and connected the two metal lines together and it idled fine.

Im thinking it had to much water and not enough antifreeze in the mix and cracked the cooler..... :shrug:

your thoughts?

also, Im guessing im in the market for an 03 intercooler.:burn::bash:

$614.00 later, I have a LFP new unit on the way. Damn it this is going to suck.

I've seen used ones on eBay for half that. Let us know how you like the LFP one.

I removed, cleaned, tig welded the old one, and reinstalled it yesterday. All in about 6 hours and works perfect. LFP unit still on the way. lol So ill probably install it in a few months.
