I’ve got a 2017 2.3 installed in my 33 Ford. I am using Ford Performance’s control pack (M-6017-23T) and have a cold start issue as well as a high rpm idle. When I start the RPM goes to 1900 and stays for about a minute before dropping to 1500 (RPM then fluctuates 100 RPM ip and down) after about 30 seconds then drops to idle at 1100.
In gear with the 6R80 idle is 900.
Is this normal or how can issue be resolved to get correct RPM and timing from high idle to normal idle. Also what is the correct RPM for high idle and normal hot idle in neutral gear
