Coils not clicking

Hey guys trying to do my plugs right now and my coils are not clicking on the plugs.. Do they need to click on the plugs or should I just bolt everything up and see if they work?

The do not click on. The coil covers provide the pressure to ensure good contact.

Just for future reference if you pull slightly on the COP and they do not come out then you are good.
