COG on D1SC?????

am i the only one running a cog setup on a d1sc??? i bought the kit off of a member here, and now that i do a little looking, people are saying not to cog a d1sc....all of these posts are however a few years old at the least....was there a problem that procharger fixed, or am i gonna break something?

Only reason I've ever heard for not running a cog is that on a car that sees daily use it can be hard on the crank when downshifting and being on and off the gas with a manual, autos are much easier on this setup. Although with how much tension I had to have to keep my belt from slipping I doubt that was all that great for the crank either.

i will but itll be a few days....car is at the dealership sorting out some electrical issues....car is an 89 notchback with a 306
