Hey everyone, threw my car on the dyno for the first time since getting it tuned. Setup is Cobrajet intake manifold, monoblade throttle and ford racing air intake, with BBK 1 7/8 long tubes and a straight through 3 inch exhaust. The transmission is a magnum XL and the rear end is 3.31 (yes i know i need to get that sorted, was nice for roll racing when the car was supercharged), the shortblock is an f150s 10.5:1 compression with mustang heads and cams. To be honest before getting the car on the dyno i knew it would make a little less power because its so hot and humid here in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. But i said why not, the car was tuned about 6 months ago and i was wondering wete it sat. Dyno computer showed that ambient temp was 107 farenheight and himidity was at 25%, tbh it felt like 115 and 50% humidity. Ran the car 4 times with 5-10 mins to cool down between runs.
It constantly made 410 +-1 whp and ~355 wtq on the dynojet with what i believe are very nice curves. Now that power is lower than i expected. Should i be happy with it and remember my compression is lower by half a point and it was fricking hot?
When the guy at the shop tried a 4th gear pull it made about 10 more whp to about 6000 rpm but he had to shut it down because speed was too high for the dyno on my gearing.
