I have a 2004 cobra and it was stock at the time and I raced my buddy's 2002 GT that has a D1 Procharger tons of other mods, anyways he dynod at 406/388 and we started at a 40 roll 3 honks and we took off. he would pull on me a little but I would end up catching him and pulling about 2 cars on him. with this in mind what do you think my stock hp might be, just a guess. and if any of you are wondering, he is an awesome driver.

Sorry to ruin the day but your friend has no driving skills unless its a convertable with 20's. He dyno's 30+ hp higher, 300+ pounds lighter and you caught up near top end where centrifical is better. My 01 GT that dynoed 355 was quite a bit faster than my cobra is stock.

THree weeks ago I raced a blown 02gt. We did 5 60-130 races...I had two-3 cars on him, once he built up his boost, I only crawled away from him. Off the line is where I got my distance. One out of the five I waited for him to build up the boost, then floor it. I had maybe a car, prob less on him. They have a huge wt. advantage.

even with a strong "Stocker" you are giving up 30hp. With him having at least a 300 lb weight advantage I would think that you need 30hp over him to pull on him. So something aint right..

I think you're just begging for someone to tell you you have some 500hp factory freak god of a cobra. Does your friend have track times in his car?

Maybe his belt was slipping, wasnt shifting right, or his car is having major problems. . For him to get the jump on you, and you to crawl up to him and pass him, something isnt working correctly on his car. It should be the other way around (you getting the jump on him, and he should of passed you) I have never seen a Cobra, stock, with more then 390 to the wheels.

The best no, one of the best yes. But if you where tunes I would not call that stock. But like I said even if you dyno'ed 400 to the wheels he would still be faster being 100's of pounds lighter than you.

Were you dynoing the 450rwhp thats in your sig at that time? GT with stock motor if dynoed that high wont last long. I do beleive you can whoop a stock blown GT with them #'s.

I am not saying i have more than 390 to hte wheels i am just saying that I might have close to that stock, and that mine might pull harder than his at higher rpms. we got up to 160 mph and then stopped.

He said his car was 420 at the wheels. Trust me this thing was the meanest sounding GT I have ever heard. THis thing pulled. I dont know if he was spraying or not. Three of the races I had like 5 cars on him, but one he was closer, and the one where I let him build up his boost, was really close. I was also in the middle of a 1 hour trip, so the car was pretty hot as well. Non the less, it was one bad ass GT!

Why would you want a guy to suck your dick? I think you should be driving a V-6. If he's running 7.76's in the 1/8 then you shouldn't be able to touch him. Although being gay I'm sure you would like to.

Steeda, if it helps, when I had a CAI and CB, I was at 417hp 396 tq. It was fast up top, but down low it didnt have a huge punch. That may be why he got the jump on you, because your losing so much low end TQ, especially with no CAI.

Up to 160! Geeze man, then I dont know. So many other factors need to be contributed at speeds like that, (wind drag, tires, ect)
