cobra steering wheel

Hi everyone!

Has anyone removed their stock airbag cobra steering wheel
for a racing wheel like a momo or sparco?
Will the air bag light come on if I replace it with a non-airbag
wheel?

Im lookin to pick up my car in March of 05 and wil have about
9,000$ to spend on hoppin it up.

I did drive both the cobra 01 and 03 Mach1 and does anyone else feel the Mach1 seems quicker than the o1 cobra?
I like both cars but am goin to be doing the full Saleen body conversion on the car and feel that the Mach might not like that too much being its, like, a collectors edition and all.
Does anyone think one is better than the other?

I put the fr500 steering wheel on my cobra when the leather tore on my stock wheel. Its an overall better steering wheel with softer leather and a thicker diameter thats easier to grip while driving. I could take a pic of it on my car if you want. This wheel is a ford racing part and retains the stock cruise control and airbag.

The Mach's seem to have better stock numbers, especially torque wise. They also have 3:55's in the rear.
