Cobra Saleen

I have done some research and i was wondering if anyone knows if what i have found out is true?

Make : Ford
Model : Saleen
Trim : Cobra
Year : 1997
Number Produced : 12
Coupes : 3
Convertibles : 9
Color breakdown : Unknown

From what i have found there were only 12 Saleen Cobra's made in 1997 and only 3 were coupe's.

Sound right?

from what i understand, there were VERY few sallen cobra's made. i believe that in '98 there were about 25, so those figures may well be correct.

it's also missing the engine plaque, and the wheels are wrong........

All Saleen Cobras have to be pre-ordered, with a dealer allocated Cobra shipped to Saleen to have the work done. It's not a normal Saleen production item, since they cannot get the Cobra's themselves.
