just to let you all know cobra R no217 just won three hour endurance race in nz qualified 3rd behind nissan skyline gtr and commodore v8 30 starters in feild won by 4 laps results are on www taupocarclub.co.nz the next round is a six hour event on 29 may at pukekohe tim brown cobra r racer and ford dealer from canada is comming down under to co drive in this event IF ANYONE INTERested will keep yah all posted

Couple questions:

1. Which one are you in the picture?

2. Is there more to the phrase on the rear wing other than the movie reference?

3. How many cars do you have on a .8 mile track for 3 hours at a time? LOTS of traffic I imagine!

taupo race track is 1.4 kms long all 30 cars start together traffic is hell the photo at the finish is myself and my son iam the old bugger i quallified at 42.88 my son at 43.22 this weekend the race is at pukekohe 6 hours 46 starters track is 2.8 kms long 14 v8s in field run forest run is something my mechanics stuck on

I actually saw this car on tv. I think it was an in car cam on speedvision and he mentioned it was the only one imported to NZ.
