cobra r intakes?

curious why you never see the 2000 Cobra R intakes being made/sold?

They only made 300 of them and that's it. (There were a few extras that were floating around.) You can't buy them from Ford or anywhere for that matter.

That's a little over 5 units per State. IF they all stayed in the States!

Just out of curiousity, I know there are guys that run Ford GT cams in their Cobras, I have heard that the Cobra R cams are a little bigger than the GT's. Is there anyone that knows the specs on the cams? I'm just curious as to why I have never heard of anyone runng the Cobra R cams, other than the fact tha they are probably very expensive and not readily available.

check out the corba r section , there is a member who bought one and modified it to work on his 4.6. So there was at least one for sale.

Yes. We can't know everything about everything, even the basic stuff. Although he has proved his membership questionable, he is still here to learn.

Ford Oz has had a 5.4L DOHC V8 Motor for several years now...

That would make LOTS more than 300...

They have so far pumped em out at 260KW, 290KW (Boss), 302KW (Limited Edition Falcon Cobra), and no upping it to 315KW. All DOHC 5.4's.

Pity they don't go like the Cobra R!
