Not exactly CNC, but my buddy has a lathe and tig welder that we screw around with when we get bored/drunk.

What are you looking to do? Buy a machine and put in your garage to tinker with?

I built my own CNC router last year. Bought plans and built it; wasnt too bad. The plans are good if you've never built them or been around them.

Once I built one myself though, i'm pretty sure I would just design my own.
