I bought my 2012 GT last year with the McLeod RST and the low RPM rattle has been driving me insane lately. I have the Boss manifold installed so I need a clutch that can handle the high RPM shifting. I bought the car with the idea of tracking it as it has all the suspension and most of the proper mods for it, but so far I haven't been out yet.
I was looking at getting the Boss clutch, but after some research it appears the Boss has lockout issues above 7000 rpm. I've seen people replacing the Boss clutch with the Spec Stage 2+ and fixing the lockout issues, but it can also generate some noise. The Exedy Mach 500 Stage 3 in another option which I haven't seen too many issues with in my research so that might be the best choice.
At this point I'm close to just selling the car if I can't find a clutch that won't give me lockout issues or rattles. I don't feel like spending $1000-2000 to try and fix this and still have issues.
