I've heard I'm going to need one of these when I go to an a/m clutch, which will probably be soon, so I'm curious. What's the difference between the various style, i.e. double hook, triple hook, etc.? Does it really matter? My car is set up for aggressive street, but I occasionally drag race and do some autocross events. Thanks in advance.

Single hook, double hook, triple hook, they are all similar. Put one on top of the other with the holes lined up and you'll see they all have a similar ramp.

The other variation is a "QR" style which has a steeper ramp to it. This means that for a certain amount of pedal movement, there will be more movement at the clutch arm. This is a favorite for speed shifting.
