clutch pedal very hard to press!!!! help

i have just put a adjustable clutch cable on my car. i already have the quadruant and firewall adj. now i can hardly press the clutch pedal to the floor bc its so hard, and cant get into gear. its a bbk cable. i called them and they had no answer. its not pinched anywhere and is routed correct. also i have it adjusted about half way on the clutch fork.... any suggestions???? thanks

how far away is the throwout bearing from the "teeth" on the pressure plate? What kind of clutch do you have and did you have any issues before the swap? (not including the problem you have now)

You never want any aftermarket or "adjustable" clutch cable on the car, they do tend make the pedal stiffer and will wear out in a short time, but the way yours sounds is a bit excessive...

Honestly, I would highly recommend tossing it out and getting a new OEM cable and see what happens.
