clutch pedal pressure..

i was just wondering..is it normal if you get a clutch installed and after a few weeks of driving, the pedal gets a little stiffer? it happened to me but its not extreme. just noticeably stiffer thats all, it shifts smooth and everything i just want another opinion thats all

my tranny makes a really loud whine too. im waiting for it to just blow up on me..
