Clutch engagement?

The clutch on the 03 Cobra I have had a month seems to engage right at the bottom of the clutch travel (as soon as I lift a little, I start moving). Is this proper?

Or would it be better to have it engage half way up the travel?

Is it adjustable?

Wondering if I am going to put a lot more strain on the clutch just through normal driving AND am I going to do damage trying to get through the gears quickly with a clutch that engages/disengages so far down the travel.

TIA

They are self adjusting from the factory. Read the manual. Put the car in 1st. Pull up on the clutch pedal with your foot. I will pop forward a bit. Then depress all the way down and slowly let up. You will hear it click a few times. (Motor off)

I personally think the stock adjusting clutch setup is a piece of shit. I replaced mine with an aftermarket setup.
