Clutch cable slack

I have been having a rattle on my car (checked the exhaust, etc.)and went under it today and i noticed the clutch cable connected to the clutch fork has play. Is that normal? i have a steeda clutch adjustment kit which includes

555-7000, Steeda Double Hook Quadrant - Steeda Logo
555-7021, Steeda Firewall Cable Adjuster
172-0201, Steeda Adjustable Clutch Cable 96-04
