Hi,

Wondering if someone can help me out here?

When the key is turned to auxillary prior to starting the car, I'm hearing a clicking/vaccum type noise coming from the engine bay near the intake. Sounds like it's coming from the little black box near the MAF.

Any ideas why it's making this noise? The car starts fine.

I took the cover off so you can see. When in auxillary, the black one is the one making the clicking noise.

This is the intercooler relay. I had the same problem and took it to a shop to get looked at. Seems like it could be a short in one of the wires somewhere but without tearing all the looms apart to find a culprit I just used an alliagtor clip and ran a new ground into the fenderwell. It was a quick fix but now instead of clicking when the key is on, the intercooler pump just runs so actually it's benefical at the track!
