I just ordered the LFP heat exchanger and was wondering if you could clear coat the thing so it will shine forever instead of turning dull after a few months? Better yet, those of you that have one, does the HE start to loose its luster? I personally like the look of the shinny HE!

If you clear coat it, you run the risk of losing efficiency. The paint will "insulate" the unit and won't allow the heat to transfer like it should. No way I would do this. You will see radiators painted black to help promote transfer, and that's with a special paint.
