Clear coat fade correction tips on rear quarter panel please

Car is a 97 Cobra that has been sitting up for the past 3 years the only bad spot is on the clear coat passenger side rear quarter panel , i plan to hit the car with Poor Boys SSR 2.5 and then there regular polish followed by Natty's blue and then there sealant but wanted some tips on how to address the bad spot on the rear quarter panel >>>>> pics below

Looks like the clear is failing in those areas. Does it feel 'rough'? I would be very wary about going anywhere near those areas with anything other than a very light cleaner or cleaner/wax. I would not want to even use a light 'polish' in those areas for fear of removing what little, if any clear is left.

Those panels may very well need to be repainted.

Just my $.02...

take a cleaner wax or compound on microfiber and rub it by hand. If black shows up on the microfiber, the clear is gone. I would guess, by looking at the picture and first hand experience, the clear is gone and you are SOL
