cleaning vinyl stripes

i have flat black (matte black) racing stripes that have turned to a whiteish yellow color along the edges from scratch remover. is there any way to get them back to all black?

I have no idea but try calling a vinyl graphics store, they might know.

I am pretty sure that is just built up residue from waxes, polishes, etc. I used to get that along the hood stripe I had on my old v6. Use to just take a buffing towel or whatever and just run it along the edge and work at it till it came off.
