I have no experience in auto detail at all but i would really like to clean up my brake and spacer area.

The area is rusty looking and very very dirty.

What is the best was to get the area all cleaned up?
Thanks

a spray on product called rust-cure will do wonders on that rust and will also prime the surface for paint. you can get it at any home improvement store. brake cleaner and a toothbrush will get all the dust and grease off. while you are at it, consider painting the brake calipers once you have everything super clean.

pull the rotors and paint the rotor hats black using the proper paint, same as doing any spacers you might have.

dunno about wheel studs, seems kinda pointless......
