Cleaning Lining under the Hood

I was wondering the best way to clean the hood lining on my 03 cobra to make it look a nice black without damaging it.

i just pulled it out, soaked it down, used a soft brush and some soap on it.

Let it sit in the sun and over night (takes a long time to dry) and then spray some shine stuff on it.

i used compressed air to blow all the dust off of it then hit it with some black semi-gloss paint. Looked amazing.

of course you need to take it off the hood to do.
